What is 'Happiness' for you?
Happiness is when your body, soul, and mind, feel complete. It's when everything feels right. It when you stop searching for something because you have it all.
What is your current creative outlet / how do you express yourself?
My current creative outlet is my Instagram platform, @sharonbrand. I express myself in a very positive way, since I am a very positive person in general. I want to share my ideas, and thoughts with the world and it is beyond amazing to be able to do this through a social media platform today. I don't have a lot of followers, but I know my small audience gets inspired by my on going and driven energy.
What is something you’ve been curious about lately that you want to explore more?
I'm so curious about the effects of Instagram on people. Is being a fashion blogger good for one's mental health? There is so much pressure to be a certain way that we often lose ourselves in the process. I think it's something I will explore more when I write my thesis next year!
What is something only your friends know about you?
I'm scared of E.T - and by scared I mean I could hysterically start crying if I see his face.
Who are you grateful for?
I am SO beyond grateful for my parents. They worked all of their lives for me and my siblings happiness and well being, emotionally and physically. They always pushed us to chase our dreams, they have made us the best version of ourselves and they shaped who we are today.
What was the last thing that made you laugh so hard you nearly, or actually(!), fell to the floor?
This question was made for me. Last year, I was walking and tripped on a flat surface. I fell so hard and because I was wearing a huge and heavy backpack, I was rolling left and right while falling. It was the most hysterical fall and my friends and I cried of laughter. Actual tears.
Which cultural and/or social movement is closest to your heart?
Movements against animal cruelty.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learnt so far in your life?
Good things don't come overnight. And, don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
How would your friends describe you?
Lively, funny, bubbly, and loyal
What is something you’ve never told anyone about yourself? (It’s a tough one, we know!)
I'm such a clean freak I clean my phone and computer chargers everyday.
How do you describe yourself? Is it the same as your answer in Q9?
Totally! But also honest and a little bit stubborn
What's your favourite colour?
What daily practices do you do that make you happy?
I know it's so weird but cleaning my room! Every morning and every night. Nothing better than waking up and going to sleep to a fresh room!
Why do you feel connected to @HappyTears.ca?
Be yourself. Feel everything. Live with a meaning. I read this on Instagram and it is impossible not to feel connected with Happy Tears. Applying these three mottos can change a life. I hope it does for everybody.
